Important Covid-19 Travel Announcement

For passengers arriving in Iran as of 22 December 2021

As per the instruction of the Ministry of Health of the Islamic Republic of Iran effective as of 22 December 2021, all Greek and Iranian passengers travelling from Greece to Iran are kindly required to present the two following documents upon arrival in Iran:

• Valid 2-dose or 3-dose vaccination certificate, and
• Valid negative PCR test result in English language between 48 to 72 hours before the flight.

Please note that tourist visits (except for the holders of medical tourism and commercial visas, foreign students, foreign workers and investors as well as Iranian residence permits) to Iran are currently prohibited for 15 days beginning from 25 December 2021.  

Passengers may be tested for Covid-19 upon arrival in Iran.
